With this Learning Path you’ll work through the first 4 of 8 Domains included on the exam. It includes the newest topics and content included in the most recent release of the (ISC)2 Exam Outline for the CISSP exam (released April, 2015). CISSP Certification Training: Domain 1 – Security and Risk Management

In this segment of your Learning Path, instructor David Miller covers everything you need to know to pass Domain 1 of the CISSP certification exam. You’ll begin with security concepts and governance, including policies, compliance, and ethics. From there, David will teach you about risk management, personal security, and security awareness training, including fraud prevention and detection, monitoring and enforcement, and termination. By the end of this course, you’ll be capable of successfully completing Domain 1 of the exam.

CISSP Certification Training: Domain 2 – Asset Security

In this course, instructor David Miller shares knowledge, preparation tips, and guidance for passing Domain 2 of the CISSP certification exam. You will start with an introduction to asset security, and then learn about the information lifecycle and how it pertains to asset security. Next, you’ll cover data classification process and learn about data retention and security controls, baselines, configuration management, data handling, and secure deletion. At the conclusion of this course, you’ll have a solid grounding in asset security and will be capable of successfully completing Domain 2 of the exam.

CISSP Certification Training: Domain 3 – Security Engineering

This practical course covers the key principles of security engineering while preparing you to pass Domain 3 of the CISSP certification exam. Instructor David Miller will introduce you to security models, including computer hardware and operating system architecture. Next, you’ll learn about virtualization, information systems and application architecture, cryptography, and various types of algorithms. And finally, you’ll learn about attacks on cryptography and physical security, including goals and facility, electrical issues, fire safety, and fire detectors. In this segment of your Learning Path, instructor David Miller will help you prepare for Domain 4 of the CISSP certification exam. You’ll begin with coverage of Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, and then move on to transmission media and technologies. From there, David will teach you about network infrastructures and application architecture, wireless networking, protocols, and attacks on networks. By the end of this course, you’ll be thoroughly versed in communications and network security. Armed with knowledge, guidance, and advice, you’ll be ready to pass Domain 4 of the CISSP exam.
