This is a decent tutorial that's effectiveness is hampered by a few things. First, that the editing is just sometimes quite poor, and as a screencast there is a lot of unnecessary 'dead space' in the videos.
Primarily however, Go is a language under active development, and there were several places where I had to modify the code examples (which were not available at the time I purchased this video series) in order to even get them to compile. As this is video and not text, putting out eratta is far more difficult. Plus, the first third of the videos are about the process of getting and building Go. I'd have rathered fewer videos which were longer than the many short videos of very little content that were provided.
This video series did make me more excited about Go, and if you've been struggling to find a place to start learning about the language, this is a decent place to do that. That's what it did for me. However, I think that while Go is still changing so much, it's not worth the price of admission just yet.
