Santana,CCIE No. 8806,is the author ofData Center Virtualization Fundamentals(CiscoPress, 2013) and a Cisco Technical Solutions Architect working in enterprise and service provider data center projects that require a greater integration among multiple technology areas such as networking, application optimization, storage, and servers. With more than 15 years of experience in the data center industry, Gustavo has led and coordinated a team of specialized Cisco engineers in Brazil. A true believer of education as a technology catalyst, he has also dedicated himself to the technical development of many IT professionals from customer, partner, and strategic alliance organizations. In addition to holding three CCIE certifications (Data Center, Storage Networking, and Routing & Switching), Gustavo is an SNIA Certified Storage Networking Expert (SCSN-E). A frequent speaker at Cisco Live and data center industry events, he holds a degree in computer engineering from Instituto Tecnol??gico de Aeron?°utica (ITA-Brazil) and an MBA in strategic IT management from Funda?ß?£o Get??lio Vargas (FGV-Brazil). Chris Jacksonis a Distinguished Systems Engineer in the Cisco World Wide Sales and Partner Training organization. Chris is focused on all aspects of Cisco Data Center and Cloud from not only a technology perspective but through thought leadership in helping Cisco and customers better leverage the business transformational aspects these technologies provide. He holds dual CCIEs in security and routing and switching, CISA, CISSP, ITIL v3, seven SANS certifications, and a bachelor's degree in business administration. Residing in Franklin, Tennessee, Chris enjoys tinkering with RC drones, robotics, and anything else that can be programmed to do his bidding. In addition, he is a black belt in Taekwondo and a rabidStar Warsfan, and has a ridiculous collection of Legos. His wife, Barbara, and three children, Caleb, Sydney, and Savannah, are the true joys of his life and proof that not everything has to plug in to a wall outlet to be fun.
