Comments about oreilly VMware Cookbook, 2nd Edition:

This book is not for the beginner or even intermediate VMware administrator. The recipes provide step by step instructions on how to perform various tasks in VMware, but they have little explanation of "when" you should use them. I liken the recipes to giving a child a loaded gun and sending them on their way with only "you pull the trigger to make it work" as instructions. Experts will be rehashing things they may already know.

On top of the issues explained above, many of the diagrams and screenshots in the book are flat out wrong. The same screenshot is repeated over multiple figure numbers and shows incorrect screens.
