    Decía Peter Drucker que la principal tarea de los gerentes es tomar hoy aquellas decisiones que garanticen la continuidad de la empresa en el futuro. En ese sentido la mayor parte de la industria editorial, al igual que la discográfica y del espectáculo está en deuda ya que sus acciones hasta el momento tendieron a tratar infructuosamente de perpetuar los modelos de negocios del pasado.

    Pero como demuestra este libro no todo está perdido. En la recopilación de los artículos publicados durante el 2011 por el portal Radar de O'reilly Media podemos encontrar interesantes reflexiones sobre el nacimiento de nuevos modelos de negocios, la necesidad de adaptar la normativa legal, los desafios y oportunidades que imponen las nuevas tecnologías y las técnicas a disposición de los editores.

    El gran aporte del libro es no caer en la demagogia. Cuando podría afirmar tranquilamente que la piratería no perjudica al negocio deja en claro que no dispone de datos suficientes para hacer afirmaciones en uno u otro sentido. El sistema de reparto de derechos de la principal tienda de libros electrónicos también es cuestionado.

    En síntesis un gran libro para quienes pertenecen al mundo editorial y a quienes quieren iniciarse en el.
