Comments about oreilly Learning iOS Programming, 3rd Edition:

I have bought many, many O'Reilly iOS programming books. This one has been the best one I have purchased. The examples WORK. The text is quite comprehensive and explains the code quite well. I have been able to use the code help me write my own variations on the examples.

The only complaint I have is that the Errata has not be acknowledged or updated by the author.

I hope he plans to write an iOS7 update for this excellent book.

Comments about oreilly Learning iOS Programming, 3rd Edition:

I am reading the book from page to page and followed every exercise. I hope to build a basic foundation of programming for iOS devices, but some how I found the contents of the book are not clear enough for beginners. Some of the coding in the exercises are not accurate with minor errors too. As a beginner of learning iOS programming, I think having only this book is not enough.

Comments about oreilly Learning iOS Programming, 3rd Edition:

This book is not for beginners as it does not always explain concepts clearly and in detail. This book is also not for folks with experience in iOS development as it may be too boring.

I have put a lot of effort and time into this book but have not gotten much out of it. I regret buying this book.

I would not advise buying it.
