Comments about oreilly MySQL Cookbook, 3rd Edition:

While this book is not complete I believe that so far it has been very useful and informative. I would say I am fairly familiar with this topic, but it has some great examples of how to interface with different programming languages and APIs that I find very useful. I will give it 5 stars for now, but would like to see more before I say it actually deserves a 5.
