Comments about oreilly Introduction To Hadoop YARN:

I'm into Hadoop YARN to understand how to configure Spark on YARN properly and what the different configuration options are. I read many articles on the topic and had also reviewed the sources of Spark focusing on the integration with YARN. What I missed were videos to further improve my understanding of YARN and the Introduction To Hadoop YARN video was perfect.

The video set is very lively presented with tons of figures and so interactive and hands-on that I felt as if I had been in a class with David. Text and visual materials are evenly distributed over the course of the video. The author's speaking style was exactly to my needs and I regret no moment during the entire time while I was watching it. The video set's time is 1:26:28.

The video set was very insightful and productive. The small chunks of 5-10-minute videos made it so easy to follow.

Even though the first modules were not strictly about YARN they helped me to understand the reasons for YARN's design and architecture.

The only improvement I could share with the author would be to split the very few 8+-minute videos into smaller 5-minute chunks.
