Comments about oreilly MOS 2013 Study Guide for Microsoft Word:
This was a great refresher on MSW not only as a study aid which highlights the familiar and unique elements of MSW, but explores all the features of the program. "While I used this with Word 2011 for Mac," there were only a handful of work arounds (help button) and unavailable program elements. Nevertheless, the rhythm and speed of the chapters works well to instill confidence in the programs features: especially image and text placement techniques. Who knew there was a 3d layer visualizer and manipulator in MSW? The attached files were great and very important not only to test ideas with, but in reinforcing the chapter details and tasks. The text styles formatting section and the corresponding use of chapter-indexing was fantastic. I did not know Word was so complex and user-friendly prior to this guide. On to the next lesson…..and book. MOS 2013 Excel. Great value and education for the money.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
