Comments about oreilly Social Engineering:

This book is a great starting place when diving into a topic as in depth as social engineering. The subject matter was covered very quickly with a lot of high level overview, and plenty of real world examples. He also includes tonnes of links to learn more about each individual topic, along with interesting research to read.

I bought the book as a penetration tester, and found in invaluable for rounding out my existing knowledge. I believe it would also be very useful for any IT manager who wants to learn a little more about social engineering.

Additionally it has the effect of terrifying your boss that every person out there is trying to access your data, and the receptionist is the gate keeper of all secrets [True story]

My final word, all IT staff should read this book.
