It's a " Basic Guide " step to step, very fine book, you can learn it with style.

Learning Web Design Review

Comments about oreilly Learning Web Design: HTML, Graphics, and Animation:

Why would you write a book about learning web design that doesn't even cover XHTML which is the current standard? Yet another book that promotes bad habits in web design for the sake of making learning simple. Instead "Learning Web Design" should have covered the basics of XHTML and CSS.
