I've used Office forever but there are lots of nooks and cranneys I haven't explored. Office 2010 added more. I like this book because it is well organized, and it covers all the office products quite well for a single book. It is great for a quick reference and has enough detail to be a good training tool.

Although it's early in the game, Office 10 is here to stay, and for anyone looking for a good reference manual, at the intermediate or advanced level, I recommend this book. I bought it to have as a reference for MS-OneNote and Outlook 2010, the two newly crafted and integrated components of the software suite

Re: OneNote - the book definitely helped me understand and really start using this previously overlooked an under-utilized tool.

Re: Outlook - The newly integrated version in this release of Office is one of the biggest changes in the Office suite and the book does a good job to minimize the learning curve and help optimize understanding many of the enhancements in the tool.

This book is a must-have for anyone who wants to be be prepared to become an early adopter of the Office 2010 Suite.

Bott and Siechert did an impressive job. In fact, I pre-ordered, knowing what to expect based on previous works.

If you want to use all that is available in Ofdice 2010, then this is the only book of authority, in my opinion. It's everything you could expect and more
