MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-511): Windows® Application Development with Microsoft® .NET Framework 4
Matthew Stoecker, MCP, has written numerous books and articles on Microsoft Visual Basic®, C#, Windows Forms, and .NET technologies, including the Microsoft Press® Self-Paced Training Kits for Exams 70-502, 70-505, 70-306, and 70-316.
Comments about oreilly MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-511): Windows® Application Development with Microsoft® .NET Framework 4:
This book and the accompanying CD contain numerous errors. Perhaps this is not surprising in a large book - but what is shocking is that 11 months after these mistakes began to be pointed out (as reader-submitted errata), the author and editor have failed to confirm a single one of the errata, so all of them are listed as unconfirmed. This problem has been brought to the attention of O'Reilly and of Microsoft Press (who in turn have brought it to the attention of the author) but nothing has come of this. Yet despite this poor record, the author is currently writing yet another MS Press book, due for publication shortly.
