Comments about oreilly Building Applications for the Mac App Store:
It was pretty much a technical, straightforward read on how to package and submit an app to the Mac App Store. I'm pretty sure a serious developer could have searched for this information online and obtained it for free. Hence, my average rating.
However, I would have liked to read a little bit about the marketing aspects behind submitting an app to the Mac App Store, for example. (e.g, copy text, what kind of screenshots, how to price them...) I would also have liked to read about any potential pitfalls associated with the app submission process and how to deal with them. Look elsewhere for this kind of info.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
