There are much version between server 2003 until server 2012 and the book flags for the last system windows 8.1 but gives a general opinion of a GPO and in all systems happen together in the network. It is not a book with a technical method to deploy a GPO but a book of study how to build and it takes time.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
