Comments about oreilly Instant PostgreSQL Starter:

If you're already running SQLServer or MySQL, this is probably going to be a bit basic for you. But if you've been using Access and want to move to something open source and more powerful, this is a great book to get started. After 45 minutes, you'll have a PostgreSQL server installation up and running with a small database and you'll have learned standard CRUD tasks with PgAdminIII.

The second part of the book is devoted to 9 other features you should know about. This shows you how to do a few more things and gives you the terminology so you can quickly find what you need in, eg, the PostgreSQL Cookbook.

If you want a comprehensive introduction, this isn't it. But if you want a guide to instantly starting to use PostgreSQL, this is worth the price in e-book format.
