    Comments about oreilly Development Blueprints:

As a beginner (SFDC Admin and Developer), I found this book super helpful but also slightly above my pay grade – I'd recommend it for intermediate and advanced users.

With that said, I was able to successfully create a reporting system with custom dashboards, as outlined in Ch. 4. Step-by-step tutorials were very easy to follow. So much so that even though Ch. 2's ecommerce project was too advanced for me, I was able to work my way through most of it and learned a lot in the process.

There's a lot more than just Development, as the title suggests (Android Development, Heroku, Azure and Angular.js) so newbies like me should be aware of this.

Overall, a great edition to my tutorials and something I can easily see being valuable for future more advanced projects. Highly recommend.
