Comments about oreilly Learning Azure DocumentDB:

I had to be familiar with DocumentDB in a short time and I decided to read this book. There are no much books about this database. I stared reading "Learning Azure DocumentDB" a week after I started reading "MongoDB, The definitive guide" so I could make rough comparison between features what both databases have. On the other hand I'm not familiar with Microsoft's technologies, so I don't know whether examples are good enough or they are not.

I'm giving the highest score for "Learning Azure DocumentDB", because I learned what DocumentDB is capable to do and the book saved me a lot of time and headaches.
