In the book you make 3 main projects 1 - 2D shooter (think Geometry Wars) 2 - 2D platformer using 3D assets 3 - 3D first person horror game

All in all this book is highly recommended, it is one of the most up to date books out there as of writing this review and the projects you make are fun enough that you are proud of what you have achieved, but are still open to completion as an exercise for yourself
