Comments about oreilly Microsoft SharePoint for Business Executives: Q&A Handbook:

Author should consider retitling this: "Microsoft SharePoint Deployment for IT Executives: Q&A Handbook"

Based on the title and brief description I was expecting more of high level review of features, benefits, risks and challenges of introducing SharePoint into the organization. Something that would help me balance the enthusiasm of the IT group while making an investment decision.

What I found was more of an CIO's guide to organizing and managing a SharePoint deployment while keeping the C-Suite engaged, after the investment decision has been made.

The book is well written for the senior IT team and performs this function admirably. Unfortunately, I was looking for something more basic. To quote the authors "When discussing this book with the other writers, a strong Turkish coffee analogy was made. If techies drink strong Turkish coffee, the executives only want a
distilled version of the coffee. Enough to get a feel of the flavor, make a decision, and choose whether or not to drink some more." I'm afraid it was too strong for my tastes.
